Who
I like to make things work and people work with them. Simple ways in a complex world define me and my approach to all challenges that I confront. The user experience is what it is about and I make it all come together by dismantling everything around me. Things you should know:
- I am 34-years of age and have been doing this stuff since before I got out of high school. I had my first web page when it was still common for people to ask “What’s that?” when you gave them your URL. I’ve been doing it professionally for just over 15-years.
- I’ve had a lot of opportunity to travel with my work over the years and took almost every single one. This has allowed me to experience most of the various regions of the United States, Europe and even a small stint in Japan. I bring an interesting culture and love to work.
- I’m a health nut, cycling and running almost daily. Currently I am training for competition in the XTerra trail runs with hopes to complete the Leadville 100 in Colorado for 2011.
- I also make custom furniture by hand in my woodshop. I make everything from tables and chairs to custom front-entry doors to decorative frames and mirrors. Please visit my other portfolio site here to see recent work.
- I am a musician and taught guitar, bass, and mandolin for over 5-years at a local music store. Additionally I tinker on the piano and banjo.
- I cook, a lot, and love preparing seasonal and local food when I can. You should try lamb with mint pesto or maybe my lemon salted pork tenderloin.
- I have a wonderful wife that allows me to have a bazillion interests and take over the garage with encouragement.
Life is something that should be lived and experienced. I have never lost sight of that and encourage everyone around me to unplug and live a little.
